I gave myself up for dead
Trapped by the chains
Of my own self-hate.
I could not see a Light
Surrounded as I was by
Clouds of pain and sorrow.
The rain kept falling
As I flooded myself
Into an ocean of despair.

A Power came
Unlocked the chains
Blew away the clouds
Silenced the fall of rain
Dammed up the flood.

I give my Self to Life
Finally free to love my Self
Able to see the all-encompassing Light
One with the Power.

I am the sun shining
I am an ocean of Love
I am the rain that washes away sorrow
I am flooded with the magnificence of my Divinity.

I am Me.
