Rune stones are an ancient tool used for divination and for connecting with the Higher Self. They were originally an alphabet created by the Norse tribes approximately 2,000 years ago. With the return of interest in spirituality, the runes have grown in popularity. My own experience with the runes has been fascinating at the very least. No matter which issue I have consulted the runes on, the accuracy and appropriateness they bring to the issue has been not only startling, but has helped me to see the issue in a different light. It has also helped me to approach those issues in beneficial ways. Here I will show
the runes, give a brief description of their meanings, provide some links
to other rune sites on the web, and lastly some book resources. Also,
I'll include some methods (called spreads) for consulting the runes. If
you would like your own set of runes, you can purchase them in local bookstores
and New Age shops and online. Or, if you're the adventurous, creative
type you can make your own (see the book references).
